This will be decided once the total number of members are established.
Each individual qualifier is responsible for their tournament expenses. (2/24/06)
Points System
NEW POINT METHOD FOR CLUB STANDINGS Bushwackers Bassmasters Club has decided to adopt a point system
similar to that used on the Bassmasters
Tour. Our system is based on 50 points vs. the 300 that Bassmaster Pro Circuit uses (changed 2/11/08). Here's how it works:
1. Individual points are determined by weighing each person's fish. The person with the most catch weight will be awarded
the first place points, the next highest catch weight will be awarded the second place points, and so on for the remaining positions.
2. Team points are determined by weighing the total fish caught by each boat (team members must remain constant throughout the year).
The team with the most catch weight will be awarded the first place points and so on for the remaining positions.
3. 50 points will be awarded to the first place winner and decrease in 1 point increments through the remainder of the field.
4. To receive team points as outlined in the Point System, team members must compete from the same boat during a tournament
OR a single team member may represent his team if the partner is not competing. The single team member catch weight will be considered
a total team weight and will be awarded points as outlined in the Point System. This applies if competing alone or with another club member
who's partner is absent from the tournament. NOTE: If two separate teams are competing from the same boat, these two individuals may only
combine weight for the pot money, if desired.
5. If a person does not bring a legal fish to the scales on the day of the tournament,
10 points will be awarded to all such individuals as show up weight. Admended on 2/11/08
6. The lowest tournament finish for each individual will be thrown out at the end of the year to determine the
Club Angler of the Year. (Note: This will allow for people to miss 1 tournament (due to vacations or other commitments)
and still be competitive. Team points will be calculated for all eight tournament days, none will be thrown out.
7. If a person chooses to participate in the pot tournament the following will apply:
1) $25 per person regardless 1 or 2 people; 2) Payout for 1-8 people will be 75% of the
pot will be awarded to first place finishing person and
25% will be awarded to biggest bass.
Payout 9 or more people will be 50% of the pot will be awarded to first place finishing
person, 25% to second, and 25% to biggest bass. Admended 3/11
